I thought that if i let anyone in, they’d find out what was broken about me. And then not only would they know, i’d know too.

in the Philippines, September would mark the start of the holiday season and though the weather is still hot and humid in Singapore, i can’t help but feel a bit more of the holiday vibes — and with Hallmark Christmas movies just around the corner, you know I’ll be feeling it soon. And with that, we say goodbye to September and hello to October, too. I’m still amazed at how quickly time flies.

Loving

All the friends coming over to visit has been such a wonderful treat. The introvert in me is exhausted but it’s also been really fun to host Macy and Chinggay and see Isha for dinner. It feels like my Summit Media years were just yesterday, but also so nice to see where everyone is now. It’s also been so fun to reminisce and wear match-y outfits and do nothing but eat all day.

Working on

This month, I got a new team mate and my first ever official person to manage. Im so scared of fucking it up and I’m so glad I have the support of my own manager and my Better Up coach as well as teammates. I’ve been so scared to managing for a myriad of reasons, that now that I’ve jumped in, I really hope I don’t suck too much at it. If anyone wants to give me advice, I’m all ears.

Feeling

Sick in my stomach. Most of my sickness involve me throwing up or diarrhoea. It’s a bit nuts that I have zero self-control with food when I’m eating out. When I meal prep, it’s pretty good, but when I’m not on my meal prep, it’s balls to the walls, all-out craziness. This month, gave me bouts of food poisoning that wasn’t fun and I know I just need to relax and eat normally, but it’s a challenge. Hopefully, I don’t get any more repeats the rest of the year.
