I thought that if i let anyone in, they’d find out what was broken about me. And then not only would they know, i’d know too.

Everything, Everywhere All At Once

Everything, Everywhere All At Once

It takes a lot for me to go to the cinema these days. It could be a combination of a) laziness and b) pandemic viewing at home. So it takes a lot for me to return to the movies.

But when I kept seeing the amazing feedback and reception for Everything, Everywhere, All At Once on Twitter, I knew I had to check it out on the big screen. And the fact that it’s a mostly Asian cast was a plus.

And I’m glad I did! Michelle Yeoh is a movie star and amazing to watch. And the fact that she had to be in every single scene in this movie — and playing multiple versions of herself — was a sight to behold. I’m hoping she gets nominated for all the awards.

And the supporting cast was amazing, too! Her husband, her kid, her dad. And just how many layers they literally gave it using the multiverse concept was definitely a bit difficult to track but so worth it.

Visually, it was also quite amazing. And it’s fit for the big screen. But maybe because I haven’t seen things so large, I couldn’t help but feel extra exhausted.

By the third act (and the shortest one too), I was crying but also really tired. Nevertheless, it was such a good watch and I highly recommend to everyone.
