Currently: November 2022

And we are down to the last month of 2022. I really feel the ageing process speed up but it’s also a privilege to get older and I’m grateful for that everyday. November was a chockfull of emotions but it’s also been something I am glad to have gone through. Here we go to the last 31 days of the year. I hope you and yours have a great one.

Loving

This rainy weather is a bit wild. Usually in the afternoons but it makes me so happy to see it — I guess I’m just more amazed that it doesn’t flood even with how strong the rains are. Sure, I’m going to the office more and more now so seeing the rain outside the window makes me wish I were home napping, but it’s nice to have much cooler weather even if only in the afternoons.

Working on

Seeing as much of the World Cup as I can. The time zone and all the drama around it being in Qatar is something but my bedtime is not something I can work around these days. The age is catching up with me. And so it was nice to see even just a couple ones at the 6pm and 9pm time slot. Football with friends is always a good idea.

Feeling

Loved by my family and friends. The entire COVID-19 isolation really made me realise the folks I want to continue to seek out and hang out with and this month, it was really quite nice to see my siblings (and a surprise sibling visit with Pio!) and friends I haven’t seen in a while. As the year ends, it’s so much nicer to see folks in person and I can’t wait.
