The Kardashians
I was a late adopter to Keeping Up with the Kardashians but whenever I’d see it on E! I would watch it. They were pretty funny and I love a good reality show. So after the cancellation, I was a little sad but understood why. With social media, they already felt like they were over sharing but always curated.
So when they returned to Hulu and we’re producing their own show, I was curious. This would be even more curated. But I’m a sucker.
True enough, the Hulu series is incredibly polished and managed and a big ad for all their businesses. Leave it to Kris Jenner to finagle this deal — teasing they were sharing everything without sharing anything at all.
I guess why I’m still watching is because I’m in too deep. And it’s a great manicure show to have in the background. Do I want the second season to be a lot more revealing? Fuck yes. But I won’t hold my breath.
Kim is always fun to watch but she’s definitely mellowed. I wonder how the entire Pete Davidson saga will be shown. If ever. The Kanye stuff feel pretty tame given everything that’s happened
Kourtney I’m just happy for even if she and Travis are a bit much. I wish them a happy life together given the blended families.
Khloe really needs to move on from Tristan but we know drama begets drama so I get why she won’t. Also curious to see her new kid.
Kendall we do not get enough of and have not seen devin booker. He probably is smart for not coming on but still
Kylie I get why she’s staying away given astroworld and her Travis drama but I want to see her second kid too.
Kris is Kris and is always weirdly fun. Will she and corey ever make it official? Who knows
Also reading the I Love Mess newsletter is a nice companion to the viewing experience. Sometimes even better. Highly recommend.
