Money Manager

I’ve tracked spending at some point of my life but have never really seriously and now that I know my rent is going to go way up, it looks like something I’ll need to do.

Luckily, there’s an app called money manager and seeing how I’ve spent over the first quarter has helped me really figure out where I go nuts (socials and gifts).

Still, I know it’s only step 1. And I’ll want a dashboard at some point and a cadence of review but I’m glad I’m starting out. I really do wish I was an heiress but alas.

I have to admit. Now that I’m keying in everything I’m spending on, it’s making me a tiny bit more conscientious about the check out of my cart. But definitely way more than I should be, still.

It’s funny (not really) cause I know I used to spend so much less before and I guess I’ve just gotten used to a fancier lifestyle. Here’s to hoping I can get back on track.
