I thought that if i let anyone in, they’d find out what was broken about me. And then not only would they know, i’d know too.

Stuck in the Middle

I didn't think I was seeking a specific genre of content until I sort of landed in it. This week, I saw the trailer for Book Club and though I'm clearly not the same age group as the cast of characters, I most definitely am in for this movie.

How can one not love Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton and Mary Steenburgen in one movie? There are so many old men movies out there -- and believe me, I've seen a lot of them (mostly on airplanes) so having an all female-led cast of characters is something I'm looking forward to. Plus, it just looks fun.

And the love interests! Andy Garcia makes me swoon every single time. Craig T. Nelson is just adorable and weren't he and Mary the same folks who played Ryan Reynolds' parents in The Proposal? I'm so on board this entire thing already.

Speaking of Jane Fonda, I just finished season 4 of Grace and Frankie and though I don't spam about it enough on Twitter, I definitely enjoy the Netflix series with Fonda and Lili Tomlin. I'm clearly updated on the seasons but this season was even more fun because it had Sandy Cohen or rather Peter Gallagher playing Fonda's much younger~ but who can tell honestly, lover.

I love me some Sandy Cohen and Gallagher was one of the main reasons I loved The OC so much so seeing him pop in to Grace and Frankie as Nick made my heart swell.

Of course, all this Grace & Frankie viewing and being excited for Book Club led me into a spiral of YouTube videos which started off with the talk shows like Jimmy Fallon (and how cute Lili and Jane are in real life). And then I landed on Jane Fonda taking home the AFI Lifetime Achievement award with her really short and sweet clip of her telling everyone to stay curious and ask questions. But then I went into another video of Meryl Streep introducing Jane (and that was also nice) but Meryl also introduced Dianne Keaton.

So this led me to thinking of all the wonderful actresses that could totally do cameos on Grace & Frankie that haven't yet including the entire cast of Book Club and Meryl and Dame Helen Mirren, because really, why not. I can't wait for season 5.
